Honda Jazz 2012 review practicality and spaciousness of the interior
Honda Jazz is a completely new platform, body design, even more spacious interior, lower emissions and impressive fuel economy with the help of new VTEC engine, the trunk in two levels with a highly flexible cargo space and materials of exceptional quality. The all-new i-VTEC 1.2-liter engines – 90 hp and 1.4 liter – 100 hp, providing better performance characteristics while boosting economy to exceptional levels – 5.1 and 5.3 liters per 100 km in combined cycle driving. Consequently, CO2 emissions, as the motor of 1.2 and 1.4 liters, is also significantly reduced. The 1.2 liter engine now emits just 120g/km (compared to the previous version that was broadcast 129g/km), while the 1.4 liter emits 123g/km in manual or 120g/km with the transmission system and Shift-(down from 137g/km)

A higher level of safety equipment including the introduction of the body structure of Honda’s “Advanced Compatibility Engineering” – ACE (Advanced Compatibility Engineering), active head restraints on front seats and the VSA system (Vehicle Stability Assistance).
The new SIL (Shift Indicator Light – Indicator light gear) which are equipped with manual transmission models, similar to that found on the new Accord, provides a visual indication of the most serendipitous gear while driving, in order to increase its maximum efficiency.

Besides the five-speed manual transmission that has a Honda Jazz, the models with 1.4 liter engine can be equipped with Honda’s latest i-SHIFT transmission. This is the first time the six-speed sequential gearbox offered as an option on vehicles in this class. This transmission allows better fuel economy than the manual gearbox or a CVT (continuously variable transmission).
