Peugeot 208 GTi and Peugeot 208 XY concept at Geneva show
Today it is officially confirmed, that at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show (from 8 to 18 March) visitors will be able, in addition to standard versions of the new Peugeot 208 GTI, see the concept of its sport GTi variants, as well the luxurious Peugeot 208 XY concept (both models in three-door version).
As expected, the Peugeot 208 GTi concept under the hood has a four cylinder 1.6 liter THP petrol engine with 200 horses, a part of the GTi package including make, and aero body kit, wider track wheels (by 36 mm), modified suspension, new exhaust system, set new 18-inch wheels, stronger brakes and a sportier interior (sports seats, leather steering wheel, Alcantara, aluminum pedals …)
On the other hand, the Peugeot 208 XY is the concept studies of Peugeot 208 in an exclusive edition, which has among others the purple “Pulsion” exterior paint, panoramic sunroof, alloy wheels of 18 inches, luxurious interior (also with elements of the purple color of the skin leather seats and steering wheel) and a rich equipment.
To drive care 1.6 liter e-HDi diesel engine 115KS, paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
