Lexus ES and officially
Lexus has recently officially confirmed that the new generation of ES sedans have its world premiere at this year’s Motor Show in New York, and this is what happened today. Specifically, the sixth generation of the Lexus ES is now presented to journalists in New York, while the general public will be able to see him on 6 to 15 of April.
Besides the new look, 2013 Lexus ES features a modern and spacious interior (104 mm more space for passengers’ feet), richer in features, 46 mm longer wheelbase, while the length increased by 25 mm (the new ES is the length of 4895 mm, width 1821 mm , 1450 mm high, and the wheelbase is 2819 mm).
The new Lexus ES is based on the Toyota Camry platform, in addition to 3.5-liter V6 petrol model in the ES 350 (whose strength has not yet been announced, and is mated to a six-speed automatic), the Japanese will offer the ES and the hybrid version.
It is a model ES 300h, which combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and electric motor, a driver can choose four modes: Normal, Sport, Eco and EV. Both versions are front-wheel drive, and the wheels are of 17 and 18 inches, depending on the version.
