At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, BMW está preparado, Concepto de M135i que está a punto de entrar en vehículo de producción en serie como la nueva serie 1. BMW M135i will join M550d, X5 and X6 M50d M50d as a new model of the newly formed M Performance Division. Despite the fact that a, M label, M135 is not a complete product of the BMW M division, which produces models such as the M3, M5 and M6.

The official details are yet to come, but will run M135i 3.0L twin-turbo I6 engine that develops 320 HP y 450 Nm of torque.

Unlike the M135i  Coupe which is only available in versions with rear-wheel drive, BMW M135i  hatchback will be available with standard rear-wheel drive and optional AWD system. Weighing 1,500 kg, BMW promises acceleration to 100 km / h time of 4.9 seconds to 200 km / h in 17.3 seconds and a top speed limited to 250 km / h. Other mechanical changes compared with the coupe is related to a modified suspension and larger brakes.

As for the design from that side, M135i will be different from the rest of the 1-Series line by a special body kit, LED headlamps, sporty line on each side of the vehicle with the colors of M Division, then double-exhaust, 18 inch rims and M markings. BMW M135i is mainly reserved for the European market and a number of copies will be imported and the Asian markets but North America is not currently planned for the German car manufacturers. Production starts this summer, and the first copies will begin to arrive in showrooms later this year.
